Preparing for Your Photoshoot
To ensure you feel amazing and your photos turn out perfectly, I’ve put together a few simple but essential recommendations. Let’s make our session an easy and enjoyable experience together!
Rest & Hydration: Try to get a good night’s sleep before the shoot. I also recommend avoiding alcohol for at least 24 hours prior—in a hot climate, it often causes puffiness.
Protect Your Skin: Use a high-factor SPF and try to tan only in the shade. Avoid chemical peels or trying out new active skincare products right before the shoot to prevent irritation.
Hotel Wristbands: Please remove them in advance (hotels will easily provide new ones if you show your old ones). They are a distracting detail in photos, and their removal is not included in the retouching process.
Keep Your Schedule Clear: Avoid booking excursions on the day of the shoot. Even a short trip can lead to delays or exhaustion. Dedicate this day to yourself, relaxing, and getting ready for our meeting.
Be Careful with Boat Trips: It’s best to avoid long yacht trips a day or two before the shoot. The combination of wind, intense sun, and salt water often leads to skin redness and dry hair.
Transport: If needed, I can help you organize a transfer to the location. If you are traveling on your own, please plan your route in advance, account for potential traffic, and download offline maps (e.g., Maps.me).
Arrival Time: Aim to arrive at the location 5–10 minutes early. We are strictly tied to the sunset light; therefore, if you are late, the shooting time will unfortunately have to be shortened to stay on schedule.
Payment: Have the remaining balance ready in cash. If you will need change, notify me in advance.
Confirmation: Send me a message the day before the shoot to confirm that everything is still on track.
Drinking water for every family member.
Mini-makeup kit: A comb/brush, lip gloss, and both dry and wet wipes.
Accessories: A hat, sunglasses, or a scarf—these are great for quickly adding variety to your shots.
For shoots near water: A towel and a spare change of clothes.
Mess-free snacks: Something that won’t stain hands or clothes (nuts, gummy bears, plain crackers).
Favorite toys: It’s best to choose toys in neutral or pastel tones.
Secret Bonus: A small, nicely wrapped gift for the end of the shoot is a fantastic motivation for kids!
