✦ What to wear for a photo shoot
Before we dive into the details, remember the four golden rules that work for any location:
✦ Minimal Color Palette. Use no more than three primary colors for the whole family (or couple) that harmonize well together.
◈ Light Tones. Beige, white, soft blue, and pastels are always a safe bet. They softly reflect light and give the skin a fresh, radiant glow.
✧ No Logos or Prints. Avoid clothing with large lettering, brand logos, or busy patterns. These details distract from your emotions and clutter the frame. Solid colors and calm textures always look more elegant.
✦ The Right Undergarments. To ensure your clothes fit perfectly and to avoid unwanted lines in the frame, choose seamless, nude-colored underwear. Unlike white, nude tones blend completely with the skin and remain invisible even under thin or light fabrics. Also, make sure that straps are securely hidden — this maintains a clean look and eliminates visual distractions in the photos.

At Sunset by the Sea: Warmth and Tenderness
The sunset sun in Turkey provides a soft, golden light. During this time, the sea takes on a deep hue, while the sky is painted in shades of pink and orange.
Colors: Beige, dusty rose, light blue, delicate peach.
Fabrics: Light, flowing materials (silk, chiffon, muslin) that will flutter beautifully in the sea breeze.
Style: Long maxi dresses, sundresses. For men—linen trousers or shorts in pastel shades and light shirts with rolled-up sleeves.

At Sunrise by the Sea: Freshness and Purity
Morning light is very soft and “cool.” At this time, the sea is as clear as possible, and the beaches are deserted.
Colors: Snow-white, sky-blue, light gray, mint. White looks especially solemn and pure at sunrise.
Fabrics: Cotton, linen, lace (broderie anglaise style).
Style: Laconic looks. For women—simple slip dresses or white sundresses. For men—light chinos and basic T-shirts or polo shirts without unnecessary details.

Old Town
Ancient stones, narrow streets, and antique columns call for more structured and stylish looks. Here, it is important not to get “lost” against the backdrop of the architecture.
Colors: Olive, khaki, mustard, deep beige, or classic white. Contrasting accents (such as ochre) look very striking against the gray stones.
Fabrics: Thick linen, light denim, cotton.
Style: “Safari” style or light casual. Midi dresses, jumpsuits, trousers with creases, or high-quality jeans without holes. For men, shirts with a stand-up collar are an excellent fit.

◈ Men’s Style
✦ Clothing: Cotton or linen: shirts with rolled-up sleeves, chinos, or mid-length shorts. It is better to avoid socks (or choose “no-show” socks that are not visible from under the shoes)
◈ Pockets: Please remove phones, keys, and wallets from your pockets. Extra items create unnecessary bulk that spoils the silhouette and the geometry of the shot
✧ Details: I recommend removing bulky watches and fitness trackers. A clean look without gadgets emphasizes naturalness and does not distract from your emotions.

Accessories: Completing the Look
Accessories add dynamics to the shot and allow for more variety in posing.
Hats: Straw hats with wide or medium brims are ideal for the beach and the old town.
Glasses: Use them as a stylish element on your head or in your hands, but for the main shots, it is better to keep your eyes visible. Choose classic frames.
Jewelry: Minimalist earrings, thin chains. Avoid massive plastic jewelry.
Footwear: For the beach—leather sandals, espadrilles, or barefoot. For the town—loafers, sneakers (clean, without bright inserts), or flat sandals.
Tip: Try to prepare your clothes in advance—they should be ironed and clean. The most important thing in a photoshoot is your mood and comfort, and properly selected clothing will help you feel confident!
